A compact wet-dry rig for gigs? Where will we compromise?

Welcome to the show! We do love a wet-dry rig. Well, TPS Wet-Dry at least, where everything goes to both amps – overdrives, fuzz etc – but modulation, delay and reverb only go to one.
However, there is a major problem with a TPS Wet-Dry rig as Dan and I like them. And that is that the physical size, weight and general inconvenience factor can make them inappropriate for the majority of small – even medium-sized gigs - we end up doing. Can we condense a really serious TPS Wet-Dry rig into a more compact package? And where are the compromises to be made?
Enjoy the show!
