WHAT TO EXPECT

Our experience days will be small gatherings for like-minded tone hounds, or anyone who just wants to hang-out, play gear, talk guitars and generally mess about! Here's some of what you can expect during the day.

TICKETS INFO

We regularly get emails asking how to get Experience Day tickets, so we've put together some info for you below which should hopefully answer any questions you have.

 

Tickets are only available from That Pedal Show Store.

We release new Experience Day tickets in batches at least 6 months ahead of time so that people have plenty of time to plan and book time off from work etc. It might seem like forever away but it always comes around quickly! It also helps people who travel internationally to make travel plans.

A few days before they go on sale, we email our Patrons and everyone on our mailing list with details of the new dates  - you can subscribe to these updates HERE

If you want to buy a ticket, please be aware that having a ticket in your basket does not mean it's yours, it will only be secured when payment is completed (and the gap between payments can be literally milliseconds!) Not everyone is happy about this but it's the fairest way to stop people sitting on stuff in their baskets and blocking others.

We recommend using the 'Shop Pay' app which can help you speed through checkout! You can sign up for this on That Pedal Show Store (or you may already be signed up for it on another store that also uses ShopPay - it works across all stores using this payment method) or via the link above and it can make life much easier! With this, the good news is you're a button click away from purchases. The bad news is, you're a button click away from purchases.

Whilst we're truly delighted that people want to come back again after their Experience Days, we are really keen to keep it as fair and open as possible for everyone who hasn't had a chance to come along.

 

So, we have introduced a new policy - if anyone who has already been books again, we will automatically refund you (be aware of the fees associated with this, see our Refund Policy below). This will ensure the ticket can go to someone who hasn't been before. We hope you won't be too disappointed or offended and will be happy to share the Experience Day love! 

And finally, please don't bulk book multiple dates with your mates to secure spaces. Our 1 Month 'window' in our Refund Policy will not apply to these situations and we will ask you to commit to a specific date immediately after ticket purchase. If you are unable to do this, we will go ahead and make the date decision for you and cancel/refund the extra tickets - fees apply (see Refund Policy below). 

Last but not least, if you miss out, please don't worry, there will be more dates!

A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

Experience Days are for small groups of up to 6 people (plus Dan & Mick) only.

An Experience Day starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm.

 

Only pre-booked ticket holders can attend - we're sorry but we can't accommodate any friends, partners, pets etc. on the day. Please don't bring anyone else along as they'll be really bored sitting in your car for 8 hours!

Tickets are available on a first come-first served basis and cannot be transferred to another person without contacting TPS first. This is so we can make sure that all ticket holders get all the relevant info and notifications ahead of the event, including Covid related updates.

We're based just outside Frome in Somerset (UK) for anyone wondering where they have to travel to ahead of booking their ticket. If you're travelling internationally, please make sure that your passport is up to date well ahead of time (please do not leave this until a week before the event and cancel last minute - see our Refund Policy below).

 

We will provide lunch, tea, coffee, cake (obvs!) etc. during the day.

Free parking is available on site.

Access Statement: Please be aware that TPS HQ is a working office/studio space with multiple hazards at both head and foot height. Wheelchair access is possible by prior arrangement, but please be aware that you will be expected attend at your own risk

We will ask that everyone who attends accepts our Covid-safe requirements - ticket holders will receive full details of this before the event. It's really important that everyone has a great day so it's on all of us to take responsibility to ensure this.

Experience Day Refund Policy

Refund Policy - TPS Experience Days 

​Please be aware that if you decide to cancel and require a refund, we will refund you less any payment fees we incur. ​We apologise for this, but unfortunately our payment gateways no longer refund transaction costs incurred when payments are made.

  • Where possible, we will give you the choice to move your ticket to another Experience Day instead.

  • We will refund anyone who has bought a ticket in full if we/TPS have to cancel or reschedule an Experience Day. 

  • Been before? We will automatically refund (less payment fees) anyone who purchases a ticket who has already attended an Experience Day. This is to keep it fair and open to people who have not had the opportunity to come along yet.

  • We will automatically refund (less payment fees) anyone who books multiple dates to secure spaces. We will ask you/your group to commit to a specific date immediately after ticket purchase. If you are unable to do this, we will make the date decision for you. Please note that our 1 month before the event cancellation period 'window' WILL NOT APPLY to people who bulk buy tickets to then cancel what they don't need. We want to avoid people sitting on tickets until a month before an event, which limits who is able to attend. So be nice, play fair and help us spread the Experience Day love.

  • We will refund in full (less payment fees) anyone who cancels 1 month or more ahead of their event date.

  • We will refund 50% (after payment fees have been deducted) for anyone who cancels less than 1 month before the event date, unless we can find another person to take your place, in which case we will refund in full (less payment fees).
